Vision and Values
Vision
Here at Leighton Middle, we are passionate about promoting and safeguarding the welfare of all our children and are committed to providing a welcoming community atmosphere in which we can nurture the achievements of every child.
We provide a broad and balanced curriculum, ensuring the children acquire the knowledge and skills necessary to meet the desired outcomes for each subject they study.
We promote personal excellence in all areas of school life and appreciate that each child has their own personal goals. Within the classroom, and by providing further enrichment opportunities, we provide regular opportunities and challenges for children to be successful, independent learners and members of the school (and local) community enabling all our children to grow in confidence, develop a sense of responsibility and achieve personal ambitions.
Mission Statement
Working together to create a happy school where every member feels valued and able to achieve personal excellence.
Values
We focus on six values within the school. Five of those are the British Values and the sixth is our own LMS Value:
Mutual Respect |
Individual Liberty |
Tolerance |
The Rule of Law |
Democracy |
Personal Excellence |
