School Travel Plan
Our school is situated in the heart of Leighton Buzzard. Children travel to our school from all areas of the town. We have three gates for entry and exit to and from the school at the start and end of the school day, Bridge Street, Church Square and Judges Lane.
The Bridge Street gate is the entry and exit point for our Year 5 pupils.
The Judges Lane gate gives access to our cycle storage and is the entrance and exit gate for our Year 6 and Year 7 pupils.
For safety reasons, the Church Square entrance and exit is restricted for pupils who travel on the school bus and for our Year 8 pupils.
Pupils from Billington, Stanbridge, Tilsworth and Eggington are entitled to travel on the designated school bus. The school bus provision is managed by Central Bedfordshire Council.
Parking around the school is restricted and we encourage our pupils to walk to school or cycle, on completion of Bikeability. Bikeability courses are offered to all pupils in Year Six.
